Opinions as they say are choices of which everybody has one. Kumawood star Sunsum shared his opinion on the state of Ghana’s music industry while on a celebrity ride with ZionFelix.
According to the actor, though Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are doing good music but when it comes to who has the zeal to pull crowd and build solid fan base, Shatta Wale is way above Stonebwoy.
“Though both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are currently in the public eye, yet when we talk about getting people to attend their live shows, then Shatta Wale is ahead of Stonebwoy”, Sunsum said.
Sunsum went ahead to opine that, aside Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, there are no other good musicians in the country, and that an artiste like Samini is an “old man” now and is out of the game as we speak.
“Artistes like Kuami Eugene, KiDi and King Promise are trying their best on the local level but when we talk of those who are taking Ghanaian music overseas, then we can only mention Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy”, Sunsum added.
