Over the past few weeks, poleeno.com has been giving updates on Bill Asamoah’s appointment as Ghana’s ambassador for Tourism.

Yesterday happened to be a memorable day as the actors Guild Chairman Ashanti Region, Bill Asamoah accompanied by other movie celebrities including Kwaku Manu, Akyere Buruwaa, Berma Bediide, Martha Joyce   Arthur, Armstrong Poleeno Addae visited Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at Manhyia Palace.

The main purpose of the visit was to present to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II the letter from the Ministry of Tourism, confirming Bill Asamoah’s appointment as the Ambassador for Tourism and also to ask for Nana’s soothing advice and blessings as he (Bill Asamoah) takes up the course.

During Otumfuo’s speech, he firstly commended Bill Asamoah and all the celebrities present for the good work they have been doing for the past years in the movie industry.

Further in the speech, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II encouraged the celebrities who accompanied Bill Asamoah to also work as hard as they can, because he believes there are going to be more greater appointments to come.

“Just as your brother here has been given this honorable appointment, i urge all of you to work hard and you will also be rewarded according to your works” – Otumfuo said

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II went on to congratulate Bill Asamoah  and assured him, that he prays for the Blessings of God upon all his endeavours.

He finally thanked Bill Asamoah and all his accompaniers for paying him such a warm visit.
