Kweku Darlington sat down with Poleeno on the Poleeno Multimedia YouTube channelPoleeno Multimedia YouTube channel to talk about his new single “God’s Time,” featuring Ko-jo CueGod’s Time,” featuring Ko-jo Cue, and he isn’t holding back on his expectations for the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
Kweku Darlington told Poleeno he believes the song will clinch the Songwriter of the Year category, a bold claim given the caliber of artistes he’d be up against.
When Poleeno pressed him on whether he could really go head-to-head with heavyweights like Fameye and Kofi Kinaata, Kweku Darlington didn’t flinch. He responded:
“They were also considering how to enter the category several years ago, but now they have done so.”
The comment suggests Darlington sees his moment arriving the same way those established acts once broke through.
